The Doveton Show is a community event organised and run solely by volunteers. It aims to showcase and support the local community of Doveton and other community groups located in the City of Casey.
The date coincides with the Melbourne Royal Show as an affordable alternative to bring fun into the suburbs for a fraction of the cost. It is located at Myuna Farm on 22nd September, 10am – 4pm.
For a gold coin donation entry, you can expect family and thrill rides, animal displays, stage and roving entertainment, and carnival games with prizes. There is also a vast range of food trucks and drinks for the foodies.
Kids will find all kinds of treats and toys within a selection of showbags. Showbags and food/drink vendors are encouraged to keep prices as low as possible. Ride prices are significantly lower than what you will find elsewhere.
Parking is available at Betula Park Reserve off Kidds Road. Accessible parking is available, but very limited, at the top of the driveway in Myuna Farm in the first paddock. The farm is also accessible via public transport.
